Despite her early successes, she struggled with mental health challenges, reportedly dealing with depression and anxiety from a young age. Career

Tunisha Sharma began her acting journey in 2015, making her television debut in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap, where she played the role of Chand Kanwar. This role marked her entry into Indian television and showcased her acting talent, leading to more prominent roles.

In 2015, Sharma took on the role of Rajkumari Ahankara in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, a popular historical drama on Colors TV. Her portrayal of Ahankara earned her considerable acclaim and established her as a promising young talent.

Death

On 24 December 2022, Tunisha Sharma tragically ended her life in a studio in Naigaon, Maharashtra. She was found in the make-up room of her co-star Sheezan Khan on the set of Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. Her sudden death shocked the Indian entertainment industry and led to investigations surrounding her personal relationships and mental health struggles.

Following her passing, Sheezan Khan was charged with abetment to suicide after her mother filed a case against him, as Sharma and Khan had reportedly been in a relationship that ended shortly before her death. This incident brought significant attention to mental health issues faced by individuals in the entertainment industry, especially among young actors.
